I've been in a little bit of a funk as some of my closer friends here might understand, the whole bullying topic coming up again yesterday inspired me to finally write down a long and painful story; and though it was cathartic, it still brought up sour feelings. My father also got very sick recently, alarming enough to voluntarily go to a hospital, and that's also been a bit of a stress since I'm not there with him and I feel like I should be.
My stomach's been rocky most of the day, and I have been on a bit of a nostalgia kick when I discovered an old guestbook on an archived website with a lot of messages from a former mentor of mine who I discovered is now dead. I think I knew that he died and forgot, to be honest.. now that I think hard, back to 2005/2006. I was so depressed back then. I'm not surprised so much of my memories have been washed out to sea.
Anyhow, I decided to attempt to ask nicely for my old domain back from an acquaintance of mine who wanted to do something bigger with it, and never did get around to working that out. So after some nice words he agreed to transfer the domain back to me, and it makes me very glad. I've just restored http://noun.org to its original archival state, but I still have a lot of work to do to remove some junk and also to use Google Apps with it.
I'm getting really tired though, I woke up at 4:30 this morning, so I think I really need some rest.
And thank you to those who've had words of encouragement to me, it means a whole lot to me.
