Nah i'm just joking, welcome! This "series?" is basically a thing where whenever I wanna i'll upload a blog about current progress of developing stuff. But we're mainly gonna talk about games. Basically I decided to make a game. And since it's January I decided to make my new years resolution to be...
"Finish projects."
So here we go! First, let's talk about why I can't finish projects. Well it's simply because of ADHD, it makes me glued to distractions. It's the reason I get in trouble in class most of the time, and I can't even just be put in a room alone because I don't feel like actually doing it. Now there is a solution to this, get me hyper-focused. The only way (that I know) to make me hyper-focused is make it interesting.
Now what does this have to do with making a game? Well it's because I'm procrastinating on the game. I do tiny things but not much. Even though I put "Work on Jemonike for one hour" on my Habitica I still click on it even if I didn't work on it for an hour.
Maybe I should say what I currently have so far, well I currently have an intro I will change, and then it shows the main character saying how the paper said he needs to meet him in the shop. I finished the town but I'm working on the inn. Now you might say, what are you making this in? Now before I tell you, the game is not finished, so I will try my hardest to make it look like it's not made using... RPG Maker MV.
One thing I am having lot's of difficulty with is going to be the plot. I don't know what it is gonna be. I had an idea and told my friends at Court Records Discord but they said it was generic and we came up with ideas. But they kept spitting out too many good ideas way too fast to where I don't know what it's gonna be anymore. It's an Action Adventure RPG so if you guys wanna help feel free to!
