XC2's backstory includes the Aegis War, where people believe Mythra felled three Titans, and Temperantia is a war-torn battleground, with a giant crater known as the "Aegishammer" - except that T:TGC contradicts this. Everyone back then knew of Malos, since he was causing mass destruction and death; he sunk one major Titan, Coeia, before this side-game even started. Temperantia (or whatever it used to be) is never visited, either in gameplay or in cutscene. As for Torna sinking, that's largely Malos' doing, with Mythra only ensuring its demise after Malos pushed her past the brink. Not to mention Mor Ardain's Emperor Hugo...
Heck, even Pyra and Azurda relay the wrong information. You'd think T:TGC would try to line up with this lore, but...nope. Only two Titans were killed, people and the historical record somehow forgot about Malos but remembered Mythra, Mythra's reason for being sealed away changed, "Aegishammer" came out of nowhere, no-one remembers Hugo at all, Azurda in XC2 says he actively fought but actually had a minor role in T:TGC...
