Do you go to church/temple/mosque often?

Just a question popped in my mind

You see, all religions in this earth (whether they bow to God or Devil) all have some kind of church, a place for you to gather, being close to your ultimate being, and pray for it.

And somehow, while in my ID card I'm a Buddhist, I don't actually go to temples, well, once a year at least, but that's that.

Not that I'm an atheist or something, I believe in God, I believe that a higher being is there, it's just I can't see it.

But somehow I'm not that motivated to go to temple, I don't like rituals, I like it simple: say something in your mind "God, I blah blah blah", with any languange and it's over, hope The God heard my prayers, anywhere anytime, no need to go to a particular place, at a particular time, surrounded by sacred items and artifacts, with the Bishop sitting in the front line leading the faithful followers, and pray with foreign languange (I'm a Chinese by bloodline, but I can't speak, read or listen Chinese, be it Kantonese or Mandarin). It just annoys me., they say God is everywhere, he'll listen to you, and watch you all the time, no barrier in all form, languange, matter, whatever.

I just live a simple life. I just do things that the society think as "good" and I try to avoid sins, and that's that. I do no evil, and thus I hope I'm not one The God will consider "sinful being, with Hell as his only place to live the afterlife". I don't even pray that often, maybe 20 times a year, with scheduled prayer in the class at 7 am disregarded.

Do you go to temple/church/mosques often? And do you think we really have to go?

When I was younger, I went every Sunday and holiday. I'm not a religious person mind you, but my mom is, thus I had to go ALOT.

Yeah, I had to go all of the time until I was 16. Mom gave me the opportunity to decide if I wanted to go or not and I was like, "Never again".

To me there is no such thing as "God".
How do you define "God" anyway, what did he do? and who saw him do what he supposed to do? A higher being yet no one has ever even seen a higher being.

Yes I do believe there is SOMETHING, somewhere. But it's not god or higher beings, just other species than us.

Oh and, no... I don't go to church or something.

Only on weddings/baptisms/other religious acts, 'cause I'm an atheist, and I feel weird being in church and all...

but who or what created them ?

Yeah that's a good one, but then again, who or what or how were we created?
One says god, the other says evolution and another one says we just popped up out of nowhere.
Where did animals come from? Evolution seems the most likely way, since animals have been known to have changed appearance and behavior over time (talking loads of years)

Did we all just start from little organisms and evolved into what we are today? Or did someone or something make us?

One thing we know for sure is this; we have no idea since we don't have any real evidence or proof for neither cases.

Space particals are full of stuff, but yeah then the next question, where did that come from?
Also, the "thing" that made us, where did THAT came from?
That's why I also said that we will never know (in the way of saying we have no idea) since we don't have any evidence and probably never will have any since;
1. IF it was someone or something that created us, we can't reach that "thing"
2. IF it was evolution, there's no explanation where the organisms came from. :)
Which would lead us back to point 1, and then it goes into an infinite loop of nothingness XD

Then don't read it? There's no one forcing you to read this now is there?
Besides, no one is bashing anyone or anything, so what's the problem?

And occasionally some other times for Youth events.

Nope. I've got better things to do than sit in a spooky looking building while some self-righteous dude calls me a sinner and then asks for donations.

Well......anything is better than sitting in some church to me.

Just my personal opinion.
