Pickleball is fucking LAME! Just wanted to say that, and it has no bearing on anything else in this blog.
I remember when we had State Dodgeball championships. Now you can't even play dodgeball in schools because it "promotes unhealthy competition" and "promotes bullying the weak" know what I say to that? If you're weak, get stronger! That was the point of Dodgeball! It built character! I was the fat kid on the team, and I was the biggest target, but I turned that weakness into an advantage. You see, in our school, we had a "Catch-in" rule, where if you caught the ball, you not only got the guy on the other team out, but you got to call somebody back in on your team. More often than not, I was the last person standing on my team, and I caught-in most of my team back into the game, and came back to win from the goddamn grave. I found my advantage. I was the big target, thus I had more body room to cushion a catch.
A kid can't even get a scraped knee without their parents suing the goddamn school. All I'm saying is kids these days are having their hands held way too much.
And another thing...
Boohoo, life isnt fair, and everyone is trying to keep the little man down. Bullshit! A kid hits you in school, you fight back. Don't blow your brains out while listening to screamo in your pitch-black bedroom, because "your life sucks". You got rejected by the hot girl in class, when you asked her to the dance. big whoop. You honestly don't think you were the only kid that asked her, do you? There are other girls there that would want to go with you. broaden your horizons. Its just a dance, not marriage. Suck it up. You tried out for the Basketball team, and you didn't make it. woo freakin hoo. That means you have time for other shit like Band, and Drama, Football, Choir, Art, etc... Don't limit yourself.
You make your own destiny. Don't let other people make it for you. When God gives you lemons....GET A NEW GOD
Oh, and Get off my lawn, and all that jazz.
