they also will just hand over lists of people who have searched certain terms. ever look up something a little edgy? the joke that you are now on a watchlist was confirmed lately by court documents that were mistakenly made public. There's no reason to think that they haven't been doing this for years. Google is the tool that will be used by tyrants one day, and already is.
but of course we all already knew that.
