I Wish lol, Early days yet but I am looking into the likes of that just gathering info tools etc.

Why Dreamcast? Well just feels and is more or less complete with VMU and all.

I will add more of an explanation in awhile when things start taking shape.

In all seriousness, Gemini (goes by Loboto 3 on Twitter, he's done a few different hacks and/or translations of PS1 games mostly like the PS1 version of Tales of Phantasia (love the opening in this version of the game), Persona 2 Innocent Sin before the PSP port had come out, and even did a retranslation of SOTN on PS1 (that intro dialogue scene between Richter and Dracula is nowhere as close to being silly in Japanese) in addition to some hack involving the ceilings in the game if I remember right) has been doing some work on the PC versions of all of the PS1 RE-style games ported to PC (think RE1, 2, 3, and both of the Dino Crises on the PS1) and making them more compatible with modern systems. He announced recently that the RE1.5 Restoration Project that he (at least, I think he's still collaborating, anyways) is/was collaborating with Team IGAS on is going to continue work on the PC as opposed to trying to fix the PS1 code. I guess the aforementioned projects were serving as a sort of primer before taking on such a task.

I think doing it for PC maybe a more straight forward approach regarding RE1.5 I have been checking up now and then I would like to see the RE Survivor 3rd Person Variant too.

However my idea is well Dreamcast Titles are based off the PC Ports where RE2 maybe the more problematic because WinCE Performance ways or maybe easier to mod.

In general Porting PC Version Stuff to Dreamcast is more or less what I hope to achieve the idea basically started with GameCube Resident Evil 2 it is let down by missing content and Rookie Mode is a joke Weak Enemies with Infinite Ammo is pretty pointless you want tougher enemies in that situation.

Resident Evil Code Veronica X appears to be ported from Dreamcast RECV Complete or atleast I surmise that it is because the Opening Intro is identical.

A Translation was done awhile ago cant remember the Name and for most part they done good job but I think they used PS2 and DC Content.

Since the Dreamcast has the VMU another bonus why not some how add all additional stuff to Dreamcast Cutscene Skipping, Door Skipping, Tougher and More Enemies on Screen maybe even Optimize the Backgounds and fix RPD outside Entrance Music the FMVs look so damn Clear and the Motion just looks stunning via VGA on my Dreamcast and that just a Cheap VGA Cable.

More Enemies 5 Zombies to 10 Zombies etc.
Nightmare Mode on Steroids but with enough Fire Power to get the job done. Just have fun!

Enemy HP Raised even better if could get Zombies can only be killed by head Popping but at some point has to happen or Knife to head to give some realism.

I am aware though RAM restraints may prevent too much Onscreen but the Game could handle some more surely that said I am thinking out loud here using a Physical Dreamcast with GDEMU.
