No no no no no no, you're totally doing it wrong.
Smirnoff Ice is what you give to cheerleaders to get them out of their clothes.
If you want an actual beer that doesn't taste like horse urine err...that doesn't taste bad, I'd suggest Sam Adams Boston Lager, or Rolling Rock (pale ale)

EDIT: And the term you were looking for is Per Se

What? You didn't have alcohol before you were 13?

Craziness

Neat.
Didn't realise I bumped it.
*puzzled*

Most of the time I drink wine. I stopped drinking strong alchool after several hangovers (my body 'rejects' whiskey+coke and vodka now). I don't like beer.

Those are 2 mighty fine adult beverages right there! I liked Rolling Rock a lot more before they sold out though.

This week I've been working on a bottle of Southern Comfort in between beers ( lagers and Lions Heads). I love to swill a few after work. :grog: :grog:

Not to say I don't drink myself.
It isn't at home is it? I thought it was for purchasing and costuming out off your house but at home, in England at least, you can drink from 5 with parental consent.

OT: just finished some random cheap beer from asda

It was "like sex in a canoe"

21, flat out. You need to be 21 to buy, have, do anything with alcohol. If you not 21, you can pretty much get in trouble in some stores just for fondling the drinks.

Man, that seriously sucks for you Americans.
You must have tonnes of drunks and alcoholics if just can't have it flat-out till you're 21

Yeah, they think it will stop alcohol abuse if they hide it and keep it some kinda secret. So far that isn't working so well.
Really I think it would stop alcohol abuse if people allowed alcohol to be introduced in small amounts to kids.

Oh the alcohol laws in the states are enough to make people around the world laugh.
When buying beer from a convenience store, some states require that your beer is placed inside of a brown paper bag....presumably so that you can't see what brand of beer somebody bought, since everything else is put in clear plastic bags.
In some states, no alcohol is sold between midnight Saturday night, and 7 am Monday morning.
Some states will only allow beer with an alcohol content of 6% or less to be sold. In other states an alcohol content as high as 12% is allowed.
And in certain counties, all sales of alcohol are forbidden.

EDIT: Certain states allow you to make a certain amount of moonshine, for personal consumption, providing you pay taxes on it.

It really does suck, American drinking restrictions.

I work nearly full-time and am a full-time student at the same time. The only time I ever have to go out and do things is after 7 or 8. What places are open then?

Bars. Clubs. Places that serve alcohol and require you to be 21.

Fuck you, government. Seriously, fuck you.

I personally think that the state of Pennsylvania has some of the most stupid liquor laws out of any of the states.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
