That's cool. These days, I have a dual-boot Arch/Windows setup as well, though I use Arch as my daily driver instead of Windows. For me, I guess it's less a matter of going with what "just works" and more a matter of seeing how far I can push Linux to do what I want. Windows does make for a nice fallback, though, in case of emergencies, or if there's a game I can't get to run properly under WINE.
And yeah, I've learned that pushing the OS is definitely not a way to win hearts and minds. I got really bad about that in a thread here a few days earlier. Ah, well. Live and learn, I guess.
