Which god? There are quite a few to pick from.

Let me ask you, in which part of the Bible does it say you should hate other people because their thinkings? Wait, let me ask a better question, is there even a religion that states you should hate others because their thinkings? I'm not trying to offend you, those thinkings has been created by your mind for whatever reason and you should get rid of them. (I'm not saying stop believing in God).
You know, extreme cases of those thoughts had lead to millions of deaths and are still leading. BTW if you are wondering, my religion is Humanity.

OP did not state their religion here yet (you might be right and it might be written somewhere in the forums explicitly, but as far as I am concerned it could still be anything). Nor did they say anything about hating people with different beliefs rather than distancing from them (which is also the oppsite of what most religions teach, but far less extreme).

Interesting views. I understand partly where you are coming from but I can't say I agree with you 100%. For me, I am called by God to love and be friends with everyone. However, I can never have the same connection with a friend that does not believe in God than someone who does.

If you are a Christian, then I encourage you as a brother, to try your best to be friends with everyone. Remember the story of the good Samaritan. Our ultimate mission is to make disciples of all nations. You cant do that if you can't be friends.

If you aren't Christian (I know there are many religions that have just the one "god") then where are you coming from?

Edit: the comment below me provides an excellent example of someone I may have a hard time getting along with initially because their stances frustrate me. I get frustrated when someone doesn't want what I have and maybe that's an issue with myself. PS: sorry Dinnoh. I swear I don't have anything against you

@Axido What!? Where in my post I wasn't civil? Also I'm not talking about a certain religion, I'm talking about religions in general. (Even if I was talking about a certain religion, I didn't say anything bad about any of them, I was only talking of extreme situations where people take religion too far, not the OP). Also ignoring also applies to my post, not only hating.

@BlueFox gui Geez Louise, give the kid some breathing room. People have different beliefs and last time I checked, people are allowed to share them. You're allowed to disagree and say that you do disagree but it's unecessaey to be so harsh about it.

I do not believe in any God, but I think that everyone here agree that this is not a good way to think. If someone is nice to you, likes you and vice versa, you can't just tell him "nah I'm not your friend because you don't believe in God". You should think about that. And think about how God would react if he learn that ?

The point is, he should be friends with everyone no matter in what they believe in

I'm pretty sure it's stated in your scripture that you should be friends with everyone. That's what every religious book EVER teaches you.

@BlueFox gui I'm fully aware that thinking is flawed, but he's literally just a kid. I had a very hard time being friends with people of differentiating beliefs when I was his age too. The God I love doesn't hate anybody even if they make mistakes. I'm just saying, people grow up and learn.

TC, you should STOP just having one only imaginary friend, try to walk out from your shelter named ''homesweethome'' and try to talk to real people, i meat to the ones has heat, heartbeat and belong to Home Sapiens Sapiens.
