Perhaps there are too many connections?

Lament's Terms - The OPs set a channel limit, it has probably reached said limit.

The server is throttling your connection due to too many attempts within a certain period of time.

It has nothing to do with GBAtemp or the channel.

Try a different server.

it's not us. you'll need to change your sever location [if using mirc -> Tools, options, servers], make sure the location is selected from efnet.
