Well, what are you usually posting that causes your posts to get moderated?

The mods here are mentally retarded.... literally
They encourage trolls like valwin to troll and they ban awesome members like PharaohVizier for simply stating an opinion.

And like the above, they whine to no end about it instead of leaving the site.

I don't think you'll find a lot of sites where you're allowed to call the mods "mentally retarded" and not expect to get in trouble
besides you also posted pretty much the same message (slightly worse) on pv's website over a year ago when he got banned... since you hate the place, we're all kinda wondering why you're still around?

EDIT: Oh and try the gamefaqs forum. I've had posts deleted because I called someone stupid while countering something they said. I've even had posts deleted because the mod in question didn't like my opinion on his favorite game. You can't report the mods either because the forum to do so is moderated BY the mods you're reporting, and there's no other way to get into contact with admins. It's hilarious.

yuyuyup, you might be interested to know that the whole adding our initials to posts we edit or remove was actually begun because of your griping. I got sick tired of hearing how we were being "anonymous mods".
In my opinion this is the best change you've influenced around here. Now people know exactly who they need to speak to when there is a misunderstanding.
(Or in your case, who they need to blindly hate and lash out at).

We have the best moderators around. They work tirelessly to make sure that everyone has the best experience they can. You don't even notice 7/8 of the moderating because it's THAT FAST and THAT GOOD.

Your tears only make them stronger, and reinforce that they're doing a great job.

Can I be a Mod? I can provide shits and giggles to the incumbent integrity.

We don't have time to read every single post of every thread that's ever made. The vast majority of posts go unnoticed by us, and we only find out about them if they're reported.

So if your post gets moderated, it's most likely because someone (a fellow 'Temper, maybe several 'Tempers) reported you. It's just up to staff to decide whether to act on the report or not. If we don't do anything about it, it's because we don't think any action is necessary (e.g., X reports Y for "trolling," even when all Y did was voice a valid opinion that goes against X's own opinion).

I say this all the time, and I'll say it again: When we decide to opt for "freedom of speech" and leave a post alone, people call us "lazy" and say that we "aren't doing our jobs properly." When we do decide to moderate a post, the person who made the post cries foul and accuses us of censoring them. Damned if we do, damned if we don't. Someone is always going to bitch, no matter what we do.

lol... man, I gotta say is if anyone thinks I took what I wrote too far tell me... or mod it... I'll be happy for the criticism (as long as their is a reason listed). What I think you should be asking yup is why you are being modded and then seeing if you can re-word your post to be less troublesome...

Jeez two lawsuits - actual lawsuits from stuff I posted on here, and here is the kick those posts/threads didn't get modded due to rudeness, I had to have them removed(modded) due to legal pressure. Count yourself lucky that you don't half to PAY for your words.

I got moderated by Densetsu last week. He explained a very legitimate reason in the post he trashed and THAT reflected his respect towards an unknown person. He made a kind effort to explain/suggest what I did wrong. Otherwise, I have been shut-up by the people both on the internet and real-life without actually explaining anything to me. (without giving a proper chance to explain myself, *sigh*)
