I've spent the last couple of weeks watching Studio Ghibli films. Not all of them, but a fair number.
Just watched Grave of the Fireflies... :sad:
So sad, I wubbed...I'm gunna sleep now, and wub some more tomorrow.

What a coincidence, I watched that for the first time today also. And yes, even though I'm a cynical and bitter old git it had me filling up too. I must be going soft.

Watched them, Spirited Away's probably my favourite, but Howl's's pretty awesome to.

I've got Nausicaa Valley of the Wind sitting here for months now.... It's always hard to start watching a Ghibli movie. It's a mix of "Goddamnit, this is so good I want to tear my hair out" and "Fuck, I have to cry so hard I want to bang my head against the wall"....

I think I'm ready to watch now.....

I love Ghibli-movies as well and a few days ago I watched Toy Story 3 (which I recommend -fabulous movie) and there was a nice Ghibli-cameo in it, which I found quite nice and also shows Pixars appreciation to Ghiblis creations :)
