i hate it when people say "prolly" or "probs"

like seriously. why can't people just type "probably"? this is just stupid. it's only 8 letters, it's really easy to type. or maybe you don't know how to type "probably" but that's just dumb. why is there even a S in probs? this literally makes no sense. also, there is only one L in probably but two in prolly...

I would do more but for this I am gonna be pretending to have a mobe and be too lazy to reach for the lappy. But really whatcha gonna do 'bout it? Lemme guess try and gimme an earful? Ya ain't got the stones for that.

As for the matter at hand. Seems like a fairly standard corruption/contraction of a multi syllable word, and the s helps words keep rolling. Guess I am outta here.

This laziness when it comes to writing in general… abbreviations, strange letter combinations, "u" instead of "you",…

nvm tfw, lol, atm,…

I would not even be able to understand some posts without https://www.urbandictionary.com/

Sadly expressing such an opinion often has the opposite effect: People are going to spam you with that what you don't want to hear/read. As if annoying somebody on purpose was creative. Very few will show respect for this kind of opinion.

If you are seriously annoyed by something, the best is not to talk about it. (My opinion) I made a similar mistake a while ago expressing my happiness about successfully getting rid of something.

stop saying probs or prolly i hate it
Is it not an evolution of language?
Or if you prefer then based upon past samples and observations of linguistic trends the informal contraction prolly is probs just an example of words being shortened and made to flow in conversation better.

As you get older you’ll stop caring what other people do or don’t do to conform to your ways.

Accept everyone for who they are. Life is too short son.

I like hate it when people don't use capitalization. Like, really. It's like probs like, the most like, annoying thing. Like prolly evar. And when people like, say like all the time. Like OMG!.

@D34DL1N3R There are actually valid reasons to not use proper capitalization/punctuation when chatting online. As online chatting is casual there is no need to be formal. It helps chats flow like real conversations do, and they can instead be used to infer intonation/tone of voice/mood.

I have never once seen or heard anyone say prolly until now. I do agree with what someone else said in that it majorly pisses me off when people say ninty instead of Nintendo.

@FAST6191 I'm okay with that.
@AmandaRose Ninty is just cute sounding, that's why people use it. Nothing wrong with that.
