Ideas for GBAtemp (don’t ban meh)

Before I start, just want To let everyone know that these are just ideas... some of these I can’t think of doing (I don’t have the skills at all). So please comment below because I want to hear other ideas :)
1. Native IOS/Android apps.(I just like the idea of having a dedicated app rather then the browser :D)

2. Discord integration (it would be nice to discord someone on the GBAtemp server well on the site)

3. An instagram account for GBATemp that shows the Temp comics, memes in the memebox, and news/reviews. (I would love to do this for the site :D)

1. What benefit is there to going to all the effort to code a native application for phones that need to be updated and managed?
2. Ew Discord. Why would the site want to rely on a service you can't even run your own servers for?
3. As long as I don't have to do it then I suppose a content feed could be stuck over instagram if it is going to be the current social meeja fad.

For 3. there's an imgur link (I think) that gets displayed when the site is down so you can look at the tempy comics.

For 1. The site works pretty well on mobile already and it would be a lot of work to make - just my guess as to why there isn't an official app. Don't trust anything made by a third party as it could steal your login info.

For 2. There's the chatbox at least

Hey @Quantumcat (Huge fan btw :D) thank you for the input and everything. For 3 I just want to help the site spread into more areas (of social media) :unsure:

A better idea, how bout hosting GBA roms...? would rhyme with the site's name

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
