i'm getting very angry with this horrible customer service.

I paid $45.00 and the people tell meto wait three more business days and they will contact me when it's ready. Nope; not done yet. At one point they told me that if they don't get it done three more business days later; they will give me a refund. Yesterday, we went and asked them we need the phone unlocked now. The girl working called the guy who does it and told her to tell me that we have to come tomorrow (as in today). Guess what? It's not unlocked yet. And we asked for the refund and they said "oh it's already in the server and we can't stop it so no refund." And now they tell me to wait longer; and it can happen anytime. Extremely disappointed and angry with this customer service. It was their job to contact me saying it is not ready yet; wasting the trip to their shop.

I was mad enough i remember this. these might not be the exact words, but i know most of the lines are almost exactly what was said. what i said (on the left) is almost word for word. and this is only 1 of many calls i made. one guy eventually looked up my activation key and said it was for windows 8 beta and cant be used for windows 10 (even though i hadnt even gotten to a point where it would check/ask for a key, and had gotten this PC well after 8.1 was released) so at that point, i had done nearly all the work myself except for that one call so i thanked the guy and politely ended the call. i decided to reset my PC using alienware respawn, which saved anything irreplaceable. i called up one more time explained everything that happened, then told the man how much MS support sucks and then i hung up. I am using that computer now.

but your is bad, too. and they have your phone? how long does it take to unlock a phone?

Nope, I have the phone. Look in the iPhone forum in GBAtemp; I've even posted a thread asking how to do it myself; but then I decided to leave it to them for sure. They said "when the time comes, it'll automatically unlock"

With US Cellular they have you dial a phone number or something and it's basically automated. Is that not the case with this?

i dont think thats how it works... someone has to unlock it. its not something you would just ask siri to do :P

You can do it yourself but i think it need sto be below a certain iOS version. i also think it voids your warranty. im not to sure, i havent used an iphone in a couple years since i realized android was better.

OoooOOOOoooh I see what you want now, I thought you meant "activate." So you're switching carriers and your old one is holding your phone hostage or something along those lines?
