I'm Spent

So, I work at Safeway, and the guy who is in charge of freezer is gone away on vacation, so they put me in charge of the freeze. What does that mean? My shifts this week were 7:30 - 4 every day, but on Friday, I'm gonna start work at 11 - 6:30. This means I am fucking exhausted. Since I live in a major tourist town, freezer is the worst possible job for the summer. It is fucking loaded with ice cream and shit. It is so messy in the back, and I have to clean it all up and stock the freezer shelf. And all the cold air is also making me tired. And all next week I have all my shifts as 7:30 - 4. And tomorrow I am going to have to bust my ass so hard to catch up on the work that I didn't do today, because I was working with some old man who was slowing me down, and not helping at all. And I am really disoriented right now so I realize that this blog is just me talking and there is no structure to it, but I don't care. Uhhhh.... there was something else I wanted to say.... but I can't remember. Ah well


Oh yeah, I wanted to say I deserve more than 8.75 an hour

When I used to live in CA, I went to Safeway everyday to get this delicious ice cream, I wish Publix had it.

Anyways I'm real sorry about your long and tiresome shift. I wouldn't really know anything about that because I'm trying to get a job and they're all taken already.

It's going to be hard to get a job now that summers ending. The only positions that will probably be open are full time long hour jobs to replace the teenagers that work during the summer.

Oh yes, retail horror stories. Gotta love them especially when you've lived them.

I hope you don't die from the exposure to the cold and heat swapping back and forth. And yes, you do deserve more than $8.75 but you're not a manager/fucking a manager so there you go. =P

Simple solution then.... fuck the manager science. But you have to kill him/her after... wait i guess you could just kill him then but you can still do him/her if you want. I would suggest before you kill him/her if you kill the manager.......
