1. UNIVERSITY SHIT!!!
I'm gonna be applying for Uni this year. A scary thought to say the least. Been to 3 Open Days so far and have 1 left to see in a couple of weeks. Decided what course I'm gonna go for now at least, Computer Science/Electronics Engineering. Preferably a combined course. I want to learn to program but pure programming could become boring and adding in the Electronics Engineering could help my programming be smoother as I understand how the circuits work (in theory anyway). As for where I have no idea. Almost certainly going to be an Edinburgh or Glasgow University though. But that's still 4 altogether. I'll apply for all and decide later I guess...
2. SCHOOL SHIT!!!
Gotta love being in the last year at school. 3 classes a day out of 6 periods but a lot of work to be done. Adv. Higher Maths is confusing. Adv. Higher Chemistry is ok, quite a few things were ones I learnt in Higher Physics last year. Adv. Higher Physics is confusing me no end. So far its all been Mechanics stuff, objects in Angular Motion, Torque etc. I'm not too great with that stuff. Get me to the Waves, Electronics and little Particles and I can understand pretty easily. Stick me into the world of projectiles and I get confused easily... Coping mind as it makes sense, just.
Other life in school stuff: I'm trying to be a bit more social with the rest of the year, mainly playing cards in free periods etc. Don't think I'm doing any better than I normally do though. Still just a stick in the mud.
3. RANTING SHIT!!!
So I decided to give Guild Wars a try again. Installed easily enough, the patches in Guild Wars are always quite light and many are downloaded in installation with more files being added while loading different areas. Did hit one snag though. A new security measure: in order to Log In you must know the name of 1 character on the account. WHAT THE FUCK?!?!? Having not played in at least a year I'd entirely forgotten the name of my character. It was only by luck I found a screenshot of her with the name and I was able to log in. I use my brother's account so getting the info off Support would be awkward... Seriously, why do they need that extra security? Presumably its to stop folks buying and selling used games with accounts but if there's no characters the field just needs to be left blank. It just seems extraneous and a pointless annoyance to current players.
4. Video Shit.
A friend of mine has been writing this sitcom thing for Youtube called "The Kids are Alright" featuring large amounts of old 50s-80s music. Its really quite terrible but I may as well put it up here for you guys to have a giggle at the terrible shooting, editting and, of course, acting hammier than that roast ham you had on Sunday.
Also had a vague idea for a video which may be funny. Could do with some cameos from GBATemp members so if you want more details PM me.

yeah, still not much happening on this front. No real news at all Oh well. Seems almost pointless to have put it here. See my previous blog here for full story. Good news is that the Ex has crawled back to the hole he came from though as he just kept being a general arse.
