Japanese fighting gurus

Is it just me or is japan the most violent country in the world?
Some examples:
Their games most of them are fighting, fighting and fighting, some boobs and taikos :P
In the early ages they were samurais
With the WWII they were, from the history books i read, more violently then the germans with their rooms for killing Juwes

I hadn't thought about it, but I just might agree with you. They seem to love gigantic mecha nukes of destruction. And boobs, don't forget the boobs.

actually, japan has one of the lowest crime rates in the world.

maybe everyone there is just so adjusted to huge robots nuking each other that going and stabbing someone seems far too pedestrian and boring.

How is it the most violent country in the world? You can't even buy a gun in Japan. The police officers in Japan are very polite and friendly, an extreme contrast to police officers here in the US. The reason why is because officers in Japan don't have to worry about being shot at in the line of duty. US officers always have to be thinking about their safety, so they're a bit on edge.

People are people, no matter what part of the world they're in, so there are violent crimes in Japan as well. But in my experience, most Japanese are very non-confrontational.

We have the GTA series, and in fact GTA:SA's release date was delayed in Japan several times because the some factions in the Japanese government were against it.

They have many more RPGs and platformers than they have fighting games. The DS is the most popular console in Japan right now. Everyone and their grandmother has one over there. And if you look at every NDS game they've ever turned out (so far 1136 Japanese NDS ROMs have been dumped), only about 20 of those games are fighting games. If that's not representative of Japanese gaming trends then I don't know what is.

Ha, what are you guys talking about, two police officers just killed a 15-year-old boy for the reason that the boy opposed them :/
And then they walked away like nothing had happened. How shitty Greece is...

Just you

They're not violent, the most violent country in the world is:
1. Mongols
2. Teutons
3. Would be Greek (Spartans)

In the past, mongols, known as the Horde, rampage the world, the Mongols, started as nomads, conquered Asian Russia, China, Eastern Europe, and Souther Asia, all by force. Each city that efused to surrender will be burnt to ash, all the citizens killed, male, female, baby and adult alike, and piled in front of the town's gate. That way, the next city being targeted will surrender due to fear.

When Genghis Khan died, his conquets for Europe was continued by his son, a mongol for sure. In his first battle he orederd that all enemy units be killed, no matter who s/he is, and get their left ear cut, nine sacks full of ears was collected. Now THAT's what I call violent

As for Teutons. English, Americans, French, Vikings, and Germans are all descendants of Teutons, with battlelust flowing through their veins, now count how many battles have all those countries wage from ancient times (when Great Britain was still non-unified Kingdoms) to this day, I'm sure that is enough for you.

As for Greek (Spartans), well, I don't think I gotta explain to you, Spartans suffers from battlelust, they claimed they're direct descendants from Herakles himself, forever fated to wage war

As for Japan? For hundreds of years Japan was isolated form outside world, sure, they wage wars, but is violent enough. They do it with pride and honor at stake, not for lust

In the early age Japanese got samurai and ninja, around 80,000 samurais fought in Sekigahara Battle, okay, violent, not to mention those ninjas originated from militias

in the early age British got longbowmen, 2500 longbowmen was brought in a particular battle (I forgot, it was part of 100 Years War), all of them shot their arrows with deadly accuracy, with range from one side of a soccer field to another, AT ONCE. There were records of French knights that survived the battle that said the sky turns black due to the sheer amount of arrows in the sky, completely obliterating anything under, that's quite violent

in the early age mongols got Mangudai, horse archers that run so fast with their horse, and deadly with their arrows, they would surround their enemies, let them try to chase them and gang them up when they're exhausted, kinda violent

in the early age, teutons got Vikings, everyone knows what vikings are, okay

in the early age Greek got Spartans, okay

German and Japanese was quite violent, alright. Germans was violent because they're violent from ancient times. Japanese are violent because they're obedient from ancient times, they do what they were asked for, even if it revolves around blood, that's just the way Japanese are. They're obedient enough to perform seppuku, that's the proof.

In the end, all country are violent, so it's just you

No, not at all.
