I haven't given birth to a blog entry since February, so I guess this blog will be major after a long time.
So hey guys, entering a new stage of my life; next year will be something even newer. I just need to let things out here; things that feel awful about it, and things that feel good about it.
The bad:
OK, so next year I'm going to University; hopefully the University of my choice. It has a variety of programs that I'm interested in, but I still don't know exactly what I want to become in the future. I think I'm just going to probably depend on questionnaires that will give me results and see if that helps me decide.
IT'S EXPENSIVE. Tuition, books, everything. Have been looking for a job for a while; haven't got any replies. Fortunately, I've been going to job agencies and they pimped my Resume/CV and my cover letter, so I'm gonna go tomorrow to hand them out at different places. I should be saving up.
I hate my high school - I'm too nice; I let people take advantage of me. If people see me being successful and getting good marks; they'll stay on my back asking me to help them out or even do their work. Most of the time, I actually give in to them. This year; I'm gonna do my best to make sure that's not going to happen, and I'll hang out with the right group. I don't plan on being in contact with a lot of people from high school; not like I'll see them ever after my graduation. Besides, every time I need help; I don't get it from my so-called 'friends'.
The good:
Although there are many things to worry about, I'm still looking forward to going to University and starting a new life. Will be making new friends, and will grow independence. Also am looking forward to attend University fairs, campus tours, it'll be interesting.
Even though I hate my school, it's pretty easy and the marking system is excellent. As long as you have a good relationship with your teacher, and do your work--they'll give you good marks. It's been like this for my freshman, sophomore, and junior year. I'm looking forward to staying focused on my work and getting this year completed as quick as possible. Hopefully it goes quick.
I'm also planning on volunteering for a specific schedule and get many hours as possible so I can be eligible for a scholarship; hopefully this final year of high school ends with success and a better future.
It's so cool how I look back at my previous blogs, and am writing this one. It's so much different and shows how time has changed.
