laptop vs. desktop

which one is better? laptop or desktop?

desktop for personal home stuff (music production, servers etc..)

laptop for work/business (djing, software development while on the go)

desktop for upgradability and sheer power, laptop for portability and ease of use outside of your primary workstation, or like.. looking at ponr in bed or something

There's no opinion in terms of the whats and whys. Desktops are more bang for your buck, better cooling. Laptops are mobile/portable.

I'd say, it depends. I mean, a decent desktop from 2015 can be just as good/better than a laptop in 2019. You can also upgrade a desktop easier than a laptop.

If money isn't a factor, then it falls down to what you want to do.

Here's my suggestion for you:
look on newegg and determine a budget, what you want to do, etc, and reply to this blog.

lol i found a desktop on newegg that costs 100$ less than my desktop and it's much better

@Hells Malice laptops are good but they are very expensive compared to desktops (see post above) and that's what i hate about them
