While I don't preach rxtools users to convert to A9LH,
At the bare minimum menuhax is at least more convenient to boot into as compared to browserhax or msethax.

Also, I'll recommend switching over to CFWs that are actually still maintained by their Devs, at least Reinand or Luma3ds,
simply because newer firmwares has been breaking all types of features,
and Reinand and Luma3DS patches these breaks.

You could argue you don't wanna update, and you don't play online games,
but its better to "change over" and "update your emunand" when it's still safe to so.

Who knows, maybe one day you'll update your emunand without switching over, and it doesn't boot.
There's a bunch of threads about updating emunand and rxtools breaks all over the place now..

Except that a top TN screen is actually better in all areas outside of viewing angles, and who plays their DS at some odd extreme angle?

I use menuhax and reinand, I'm happy with that solution and i cba to setup A9LH

Who stays in front of their 3DS at a robotic perfect angle?
TNs looks horrible. They're worse in every way.

So, what if set up again a jap emunand, do all of the steps, then at the end, re-import my USA emunand from a backup? Will that work?

I've only had TN 3DSes. (Most likely because they weren't XLs.) They look fine to me, though I've never seen an IPS 3DS.

What i suggest is backup your current emunand, make a USA emunand, do the whole process and then run your backup (to avoid flashing JP into USA nand)

I'd say backup your USA emunand, make a JAP one, then begin the guide.

LoL. What do you do? Play while you're out for a jog, or while headbanging at a metal show? Look at any black level test page, if you're television had as horrible black crush with no way to adjust it as the DS IPS screens do, your television would be complete garbage. Fact. Not opinion.
