Men crying not rare

ive heard alot of girls say Men/boys dont cry

im surely not the only one that sheds a tear every now and then

i was only raised by my mother so im quite a emotional person, and movies, serious pain and loss of life make me cry
e.g. "the Notebook", "titanic", losing a pet, a good song, having your heart broken

i just wanna know if men do cry or dont they
i find it to beleive if they dont

you dont have to say why just say so in the poll

Eventho I'm half Turkish (macho-ish culture) I can still cry like a baby, tho I have the same background as you - fatherless upbringing that is. Also.... I'm quite trigger happy with tears. xD

PS. Chicks seem to dig emotional men, atleast in my town. ;)

E* Derailing this thread back to it's original rails..... :P

For some reason I very greatly dislike the feeling of crying, it's like subconsciously it makes me feel weak or something. This is why even when I feel like I might, I try as hard as possible to suppress it. I didn't shed a single tear at the last few funerals I went to, not because I wasn't sad at all, but because the feeling of crying bothers me.

I couldn't cry, too many people sobbing noisily, I couldn't hear a thing that was going on, although, I did cry a bit after finishing the book.

But, there was a post on reddit today about men crying.[/quote]
Couldn't read the first post?

i haven't cried in many years even tho i've felt like crying many times i just can't. i don't see anything wrong with being emotionally sensitive

I cry a lot, I cry when people get mad at me. I cry when I get mad on anybody. I cry when Nintendo decides to stop, or not localizing a great game for 3DS.

Errrr I cry about almost everything! Also, when I got my Wii I cried of happiness.

Stories like the ones from the Chaos rings sage are beautiful.(that makes me cry a bit)

WTF I am crying right now. no reason wtf.

I cry very rarely. I'll feel a well up, but I generally don't cry. I think I've attempted to abandon it as a sign of weakness of some sort. I don't know. My childhood was infested with me crying due to being an overly sensitive child in an emotionally abusive household, and I think that deep down, changed how I think about it.

That's not to say I don't cry, but it is only when I get so angry that I actually cry because of it. That's happened once in the past three or four years.
