My driving license

today is the day women can drive in Saudi Arabia, still haven't got my license yet because there is too many women in training and there is very few instructors.

i already has experience in driving in syria and already has diving license their(however i think it got expired now), my driving is a bit rusty and the instructor is bit harsh on me.

not all non saudi women can get diving license, your visa or (personal paper) must be attached to a company, so daughters and wives those still under the father or the husband paper can't be allowed to get a license, however saudi women can get driving license very easily.

one thing i hate, is the social media reaction toward women driving, they all acts like a revolution, many company start to promote their free services for ladies only, many malls start to paint parking area in pink so they can promote we are welcome in that place, and some are painting over disabled area and making it for female only parking, this is disgusting

what the hell are they thinking?

So much cringe, i started to hate driving even before i start to drive.

and of course there is the assholes that can't accept women driving despite they start driving when they were 10 years old.

well, this is a start, i hope they allow all women to get a driving license, i still a bit nervous about how it's going to be after several hours.

i just hope everything is going to be ok.

peace :toot:

Here in my city (and a few others around) we do have parking reserved for pregnant women, although it's not legally binding (if anything because it's unproveable) but most people respect it, I believe

Now if you want to see a waste of public money and formerly good (but paid) parking space, come to my city's center (which you can't drive in in the first place, without a permit) - 5 parking spots were blocked with those metal brackets that fold into the ground, but they're remote controlled and you can open them by calling a phone number written on them!

@SirNapkin1334 to play car racing in real life...
Not sure if serious, but where do you live? Is there a country where they don't ask for driving license?

Congratulations aos10. I hope Saudi Arabia gets over those moronic laws. I'm watching the World Cup and I'm seeing saudi woman watching matches in Russia while they can't at home, it's disgusting.

@phalk they can now, several months ago they allowed women to go to stadium, they even opened several movie theaters from AMC and VOX, only in Riyadh now for this time, single male have their own time and they don't get the movie like the others, for example when the new Arrangers released, only families can watch it for some reason.

many things are changing in saudi arabia for the favor of saudis, and against non saudi people who are treated like scum and we have to pay a lot to extend our stay here, unless you are American or European, they loves american people so much they gave them the best jobs and the best salaries.
