My front door was damaged today

That's just the storm door that was broken, right? The main door to the house is still undamaged I hope?

Correct. It's like the front door, and i'm freaking out right now. What if it happens again or something? We can get killed or something, won't be able to sleep today.

Honestly, I think if someone really wanted to get in to your house to rob you guys or worse, there would be signs of forced entry on the main door or you'd have broken windows as well.

This seems more like some scumbag hoodlums trying to get their kicks by breaking people's storm doors.

Exactly, but this never happened before. No one wanted to rob us, we had no rivalry against anyone, and no one had this at all. Recently, I found out that when my mother and my sister went to Pakistan two years ago my father hired hit men to murder them, as well as my uncle and my family friend's dad for a lot of money in profit for them. I have a feeling its connected to my father but we're not sure at the moment. Neighbors are saying that this is the first time they have saw something like this and are very shocked.
Today, my sister was talking about some noise she heard at 1:30 but she thought that probably I or my brother were up and dropped something, and noticed we were asleep as well as everything was like a desert outside.
Anyway, the authorities were going to send someone to make pictures of it, who hasn't came yet. We are going to call the housing corporation to move us to a safe place.
Legs are shaking at the moment. ;(

This might be a stretch, but think about it - if you think this is connected to your dad, let's consider this - he hypothetically hired hitmen/someone to... go to your house and break your storm door? All the way from Pakistan?

You don't need a rivalry against anyone to end up being unlucky enough to get a few tards walking down the street who decide to take off your mailbox with a baseball bat for no fucking reason. Likewise applies to a few tards walking down the street who think it would be funny to throw a few rocks at some random door that has big glass panels in it.

Obviously, still be careful, keep an eye out for things going on in your neighborhood that are unusual, but I think you might be looking a bit too far into it and trying to make it into something it's not.

True, but I don't think that the hit men would do this, and my dad would do this himself, like he passes by randomly doing weird shit at us, so I guess he would have the guts on committing this. I think, however, it must be assholes walking down the street, because our area is messed up with gangsters and such. I will keep my eye out.

Thank you, blice. I hope it doesn't happen again, but we want to move quick as possible since there is so much crime in this community and area. This is a government based townhouse, for people taking welfare. Which is us. So we'll let the people know to get us somewhere safe, and the police say that we should move, also. They took information yesterday about my father, so we'll see what happens today. Maybe getting my registration done at my high school today will make me lay off of this situation, but I feel nothing in the name of safety, I hadn't sleep last night.

Anyways, that situation is so surreal, I can't relate/sympathize, but I empathize. I don't think I'd be in the same house after that incident. I'd move to another fuckin country. We are talking about the lives of your family members(including yourself).

If this shit were to happen to me, I'd get reconstruction surgery, name change, new job, sell all my belongings for new stuff, make new internet accounts, buy a vpn(gaming and regular vpn), move to like Japan, etc. That would scare the living hell out of me.
