My plans for the future

After I'm done with eighth grade, im going to try to get into caddo magnet high school for the first year of high school, then I'm going to try to get into the Louisiana school for math, science, and the arts. I want to go to LA tech for college, but if I can go to a better one, I will.

"After I'm done with eighth grade" - Fuck me, I still get surprised at how many younger people are here. I'm 24 and this is the only place that makes me feel slightly old. Good luck by the way.

@TotalInsanity4 it's a high school in the parish (county) I live in, it's supposed to be a really good school

You should definitely take a hard look at the magnet school. The one I attended was a major problem. 7th grade was pretty much hell because my dumb ass went from a quiet town, and ended up in an inner city school where guns, knives, and fights were a problem daily.

You shouldn't be. When education takes a back seat to keeping the peace, there is a big problem. If you're looking to get a head start on education, find the smallest high school you can, and take a few AP classes. Just my 2 cents though. :)
