Need Help From a Gateway Owner [Blog Edition]

Ok, here's the deal. Many months ago I was happily using my gateway, until, the mSD reader on the card went bad. Not a big deal, we have cfw now and i can use cia's instead of roms. So i just formatted the 64gig msd, put it in an sd adapter and have been using it in my 3ds since.

But I had a 100% completion on Resident Evil Revelations (US) and cant transfer it to cia. The GW handles game saves by packaging the save data into a .sav file, named from that game's titleid. This file is unreadable by save managers. The only way to retrieve this file is to make it 'reachable', by renaming it to the titleid used by the GW and mounting that rom in the gw rom menu.

So here's what im asking: Ive already renamed the save to the proper title. I just need someone to take this save, place it on their sd card, open the gw rom menu, mount RE:R (US), without launching the game open savedatafiler or svdt and extract save data from ctr. Then PM me the decrypted save data. If anyone could do this, it would be greatly appreciated. I really dont want to start over.

@Boogieboo6 that guide is the same method I described here unfortunately. The sad reality is I need someone to do this for me.

Did anyone do it yet? Ill do it.
I love resident evil:revelations. I can't beat the final boss, but I haven't tried in a while.

Not yet, but that would be great. feel free to use it for yourself if you want.

It would have to be renamed to the re's titleid 0004000000060200 to be used with gateway.

An update would be much appreciated. Is your RE Revelations working again with your save on it?

Well I'm trying out my own way. I'm getting an RE Revelations 3ds file and trying to load your save onto it. Then I'll use a cia converter to convert the 3ds with your save into an installable cia. There's no way you could have it when I'm done! ;)

ok, so when i pulled the data off my sd it wasnt there anymore. turns out the game found the data corrupt. ill try again but it probably wont work. can you reupload the data uncompressed?

@CIAwesome526 that's weird. I'll try to upload an uncompressed to media fire or something. Gbatemp only supports certain formats. Btw, your not starting the game after mounting are you? The game will overwrite the save because it's the title for the gw, which is temp data that gets dumped to the proper title when the game is closed.

@Boogieboo6 I'm interested to see if save data can be compressed into a cia.

Nvm, I thought I had the original on my SD still, but I deleted it after copying it to my computer. I won't be home till later.

I've tried for a really long time to get everything working. Every save manager only uses cia files and won't write to 3ds files. I've gone though many save managers and tutorials and I've finally tried out the sky3ds diskwriter to see if it would write the sav to the 3ds file and I'd somehow retrieve that 3ds file and convert it. I don't think this is going to work like I thought it would, but I'll keep trying. Don't get your hopes up though, CIAwesome526 could help you much better than I can. It's time for bed now though, and I'll try again tomorrow.

Why not just use savedatafiler to dump the save from the ctr card while the game is inserted, then import it to cia?
