Phantom Hourglass was fantastic

I forgot how awesome of a game that was. I think it just became my new favorite Zelda game. Linebeck may have been so impolite but I have to say he is a fantastic character and just made the story even more fun and entertaining. What do you guys think about PH? I think I shall go play Spirt Tracks now and after that replay Oracle of Ages and Seasons. Have a good night everyone!

Despite the giant hate for the DS Zeldas I enjoyed them both quite a bit.

Imo Spirit Tracks was better - improved a lot of the mechanics and had a less annoying hub dungeon. I also really liked the original story and new characters.

I am one of the few people who actually beat Spirit Tracks before Phantom Hourglass - so the lack of the QOL measures was particularly noticeable :P

Have fun with the Oracle games. They are both a blast. I personally liked Ages a tad better - but it's a close battle.

the one problem i had with phantom hourglass is the times where you had to draw something on a slate or on the screen in order to trigger a puzzle or an attack and he game would refuse to register it properly

like the hourglass you're supposed to draw in certain locations/fights

Oh gosh that reminds me - the puzzle where you have to close the DS screen was one of the biggest troll moments in video game history.

Drawing the figure 8 hourglass was so brutal. I died so many more times than I should have :lol:

Any flaws in Phantom Hourglass are more than made up for by the Mega Chad that is Linebeck. He's such a fun character; he's probably one of my favorites in the entire Zelda series!

For me, both DS games sucks!
Specially the fucking Sand and Spirit mechanics.

I hate slow paced games. That's why I try to avoid RPG's...

Skyward Sword could have been a good open sailinglike game if they actually made more than three sky islands

Something peaceful about sailing in a Zelda game. Other than getting blown up by enemies or another ship.
