Please Nintendo.

Today I finished the new Mario & Luigi Superstar saga + Bowser's Minions game. (Just the super star saga part) I wanted to say I was very happy to play the game, there was some changes made to the game like rebalanced battle system and items for use as well as a simple easier mode for new people, some remixed or I guess they call it "ARRANGED" music and graphical changes to the game. Other than that. I was glad to play it. Some may agree or disagree with the game and often compare it to the original GBA game released in 2003 which is fine and understand after playing but I just realized something.

The whole time i never considered doing a review for the game until I finished and wanted to express some high and low points of my experience, but realized how I never took some screenshots. It hit me that if this game was on nintendo switch, that would be easier said than done at the press of a button and in high quality resolution no less. I just hope that if they actually do a firmware worth updating, it has a screenshot feature for reviews, or if they plan to make a successor system for 3DS that they do like switch and have a screen shot button. I'm not the only one who notice how much the Nintendo system reviews here have been lacking compared to PC, Xbox or playstation which all have the simple convenience of recording your own gameplay moments.

I dunno how exactly the Staff team members here do their pictures for reviews either they get them from their source of the game provider for review or another way (ones that don't revolve around homebrew or hax) But I really hope nintendo sees this and make a attempted for this. Considering the Miiverse was a possible way and now planned for removal I figured this would be a possible opportunity to consider it. Not make outsourced options like twitter or facebook you have to recover after uploading them, a true modern way that is on console only. Honestly I wished the Switch could record gameplay or even broadcast to twitch or youtube from the system only like ps4 and xbox one, but just hope it could be sometime soon. :)

Yeah, 'twas too bad 3DS couldn't do that. But that system's on its way out, and it's great that the Switch has a dedicated button for it. If you remember back to the January Switch presentation, they did say that Switch would have the ability to record gameplay in the future using the capture button. I'm assuming that functionality will launch with the Switch Online service, or afterwards. It's confirmed that it is coming, though. No word on streaming, but it would also be great to have streaming capabilities like the XB1 or PS4!

My excitement came when they said the switch had 5GHZ AC wifi which i had figured WII U would have had. The fact it even has Nvidia hardware which if you had any shield branded stuff knows you can record gameplay and stream to twitch. I actually tried a few times and it was good. It may been limited to twitch at 720P 30FPS but it still was better than nothing, easy broadcast of emulators and other android games. :)

I thought about doing that again sometime since there is some android games i willing to play, maybe sonic 2 with online racing. But no one would watch a 720P 30fps stream. Still is a nice feature for the time and started to become a standard for modern consoles. But so 6 years went buy and also the wii u happened and couldn't even get a decent screenshot tool. :(

watch nintendo piss on people (again) and not to release that feature and copyright strike the shit out of youtubers doing play throughs i have yet to hear of Sony/MS striking down playthrough vids (could be wrong)

No, sony or microsoft haven't been doing that but the game publishers/devs themself have on specific games that are for those systems. Like persona 5 or Danganronpa and probably such others. No is not really a strike, more like asking not to broadcast certain points past the games starting for preserving spoilers, and also that ps4 has a "GAME RECORDING STOPPED CAUSE ENTERED BLOCKED SCREEN" as well on ps4. Not to mention HDCP as well.

Is not directly a form of striking down stuff like youtube videos but is still relevant. Still I just wish nintendo consider the idea now that they decided to end miiverse. Why would something as simple as screenshots be absent for such things, and knowing content creators who also do reviews be restricted as such? Sharing such things have become a common thing among socializing on the internet.

@Sonic Angel Knight I think most people would be fine with 720p@30 for streaming, not everyone has the internet to stream 1080@60.

if they keep shitting on the consumer........rather not get a switch at this rate thinking on a ps4 instead now

I guess, but would you watch a stream in 720P at 30FPS or 1080P or higher at 60FPS? Is the option that counts not the regulation. They could have had Options.
