pressuring for open sourced ntr is not ok

https://github.com/44670/BootNTR/pull/95
this is not ok. its one thing to pressure a dev to make the code open source and then have them leave the scene for 5 or 6 months. but when they decide to come back, and then restart what caused them to leave ? @TheKingy34 and piorrro33, now thats just a dick move. are you two really wanting Cell9 to leave the scene, maybe permanently ? maybe cell is deciding whether to open source it or not, but you cant just apply that sort of pressure do you ? you could back off of Cell9's back with the stupid ass pulls (which shouldnt even be one. It should be in issues.) or just have him leave the scene permanently. your choice

>Pressuring
I don't see it, seriously. I'm just asking a simple question, can NTR be open sourced, I do not mean any drama. Even an explanation is enough, I don't want to be 'UltraBuly5000: Asshole edition' I just want to know why to help the 3DS scene grow into a great and happy place. I don't want Cell9 to leave, nor do I want any dev leaving the scene, I respect his work, and I'm happy for that. I'm sorry, I really am, I didn't want anyone to think I am pressuring onto Cell9 to the point of where I become Margen67 or something.

thats fine, but repeatedly asking for open source is whay made him leave. seeing it again kinda makes you both look like dicks forcing it to be closed source and make him leave the scene, although open source is great for the community, some users dont release open source until theyre ready (like Roxas75 with RxTools)

Huh, I thought NTR was dead. I really don't see what Cell has to lose if he makes NTR open source, but yeah I do sort of understand the whole fuss about people being a pain about it, but Cell is also being a baby about it too.

Too bad there is not a lot of people who wants to set me on fire :^(

The entire problem simply is the internet.
Shitposters run rampant, kiddies like the shitposters obviously.
Piracy advocates like margen stir things up more, kiddies love to go along with it cus hey! what's more fun then shitposting and going on a crusade against others?

As an example, take this:
OP made a serious thread for serious feedback.
f9d82c9479.jpg

One shitposter is shitposting a meme (which is against the rule "no single image replies") and it gets liked instantly.

It's not helping the issue at hand.
It's just a digital contest on making a bad example and getting liked for it.

Anyway, there seems to be no respect these days.
Bickering about it won't help unfortunately.

I see a lot of complaining about request, but no advice for how to proceed other than "shut up and know your place". That attempt to shame will not have the affect you're hoping for. What would help would be advice on how to make such things happen, with a warning -and proper explanation as to why- that going about it the current way (which is...asking politely? according to your link) will just drive good folks away.

@Bubsy Bobcat It was dead, but @cell9 Decided to revive it like two days ago

EDIT; Also, I feel like people will just keep pressuring for open source because of how 'useful' it would be... We could make some sick things with it, but cell9 can also do that. Just my two cents

@DinohScene I'm sorry, but you can't call someone a 'shitposter' because all they did was post an image saying that this post was entertaining and 'you should get some popcorn', if someone is a 'shitposter', it means that you post really no good info, just dank-maymays. People can shitpost sometimes, but it doesn't make that person a shitposter.

Giving no constructive criticism or any other words other then a stupid meme is shitposting, especially in places outside the EoF.
No matter how you'd want to say it.

It encourages shitposting behaviour and it's still wrong.

@TheKingy34 That's not the point though. That post didn't contribute to anything in this thread and by the community liking it, that's just encouraging more shitposting.

Likes were a mistake.

On topic, Cell9 doesn't have to make his stuff open source

I never said it was not shitposting, and it's surely against the rules, but all I'm saying is that you can't call them a 'shitposter' because of one post.

Feel free to rummage through his posting history.
You'll see more shitposts.

Next time, do some research before saying anything.
