Guys guys! I fucking did it!
Well... not really a conplex achievement, but anyway, I'm happy.
Around 2017, mom came back home with pain in her chest. That day, mom got punched in the subway with an elbow on one of her breasts, it slowly developed into mastitis, and after that, it became a cancerous growth.
When she finally decided to see a doctor about it, turned out that mastitis developed into Stage 1 Mama Cancer.
And I'm sure it shouldn't had if mom would've seek medical attention faster.
In order to receive surgery, she needed 5 blood donators. Counting mom, we're 5 in the family (with niece 6, and with pets 10) and I couldn't donate blood that day because of my cardiac hypertrophy.
Long story short, my mom got surgery to remove the fucking cancer that was growing on her breast and after her surgery she still had continuous checks every 4/6 months to see if mastitis or cancer cells were still developing.
On this year's March, mom was declared free of any malicious growth
I promised (to myself?) that, since I couldn't donate blood that day, I could probably donate hair instead.
This feeling grew stronger when I learned that I was going to be an uncle, so, I now had two strong reasons to keep up with that commitment.
Last time I had a haircut was around 2020, probably July if not earlier.
So, I've been taking care of my hair up till now...
I just told mom to measure my hair to see if I'm ready for donation, and my hair is 45cm long from the base of a ponytail.
In order to be eligible for donation, hair must be minimum 30cm in length (from base of a ponytail)
and I'm well beyond that mark
I'm unable to post a pic because the TEMP keeps saying that my photo is too large.
But anyway... YAY!
