Report Cards!

Got lower from the last time, but at least all are above 90. That's because I consider my failing grade to be 89. (That's in my head)

English: 98 - Yay. Expected as much.
Math: 95 - Damn you stupid lack of concentration. I wish I didn't drop by 3 points.
Science - 97 - Hooray! My teacher finally decided to be generous for once.
Filipino - 96 - Exactly the same. First time I've maintained any consistency here.
Religion (Christian Education) - 96 - Pretty standard. It's been like this since the beginning of the year so..
History/Social Studies (We combine them) - 93 - My quizzes have been really low in the quarter... so I guess I should have expected.

Technology and Home Economics - 91 - I have no idea. My Computer grades have been consistently great, perhaps it's because of my lack of Crafting skills. In an attempt to cheer me up, my friend said my jewelry box looked like "something from Peter Pan". It didn't cheer me up.

PEM (Gym and Music, I don't know why they're combined) - 91 - FUCK FUCK FUCK THE MUSIC EXAM. FUCK IT. A damn 60 point multiple choice test and she taught us around 5 of them. We don't have a textbook, we don't get taught much at all, we just sing a lot, and we're supposed to know the combinations of the orchestra? The only thing on that test I was sure of was where a ukelele came from. The rest, I went with my intuition. Thankfully, I was saved by my Gym grade which was high enough to average a 91. Music is the bane of our class.

Conduct (Yes.) - 92 or Very Good - We use this weird lettered system. I think I deserve this even though I am very impolite with teachers apparently. Hey, just because I talk to them in a normal fashion doesn't mean it's impolite.

That's it I guess. I'm not THAT disappointed, just a tad bit since I went down from last time.
conduct? what is the religion for?
Conduct is based on overall behavior and points are deducted when you commit an offense. Actually, our school isn't that strict with it.

Religion is more related to history. Religion is more like religious history in a way like we talk about the formation of the Church or Roman Persecutors and what happened with Jesus and all that. We also study religious laws and systems. Values are somewhat integrated into it.

Nah. I just easily retain stuff for some reason and can catch lessons without listening that much. That's why when I'm talking to someone else and a teacher says, "Mr. ****, I suppose you can tell the class the answer to my question?", and then I say a long and detailed answer, the teacher gets kinda humiliated. :P But I don't think I'm that smart, I don't even like studying.

...:O

YOU'RE REALLY SMART.

Not to say I'm not :> I get some average of ~94 as my final grade, and is 2nd honor of my class....losing by just .01.

.01

Well that's.....

EXTREMELY SAD. DAMN? SERIOUSLY? FUCKING .01?

Darn. By my allowance money count you'd get a nice $540's. (Depending on my grades, I'm given a certain sum of money.) XD Nice grades.

Wow you're smart. Lol, the last time I got those kind of grades was when I was in primary school(and maybe first semester of secondary school). Primary school life was the easiest and more relaxing days of my life.

Only thing I've managed to get A's consistently was science, though that kinda changed in secondary 3 since I didn't listen to science lessons anymore either. Managed to get like only 3 A's and 2 B's for my GCSE O Levels with some last minute studying.

Keep up the good work! Hope you can get good grades consistently until you graduate! Don't slack like me, I regretted it a lot lol. :)

Me grades.

Connections 8 85.05 B-
Intervention 8
Language Arts 8 84.50 B-
Mathematics 8 82.47 C+
Science 8 86.00 B
Social Studies 8 91.28 B+

I suck at math, lol.

Oh yeah, I forgot to post my grade here, too :P (will post number grades later)

Math: (85%) B+ :|
Language Arts: (86%) B+ :|
Religion: (100%) A+ :D
Science: (96%) A :D
Social Studies: (80%) C+ D:

I'm lazy when it comes to studying. I'm amazed at how some of you are determined to get high grades.

It's easy for me, though I feel like I'm slacking off as I got merit roll 3 times last year. Academic Award to boot too.

I just get poor grades in Social Studies. I just need to study harder.

I'm quite lazy at studying too :P I really don't know, most of the lessons are easy to remember(and forget too ;))

Meh, might as well post my grades too.

Math: 82% (very good considering 80% is considered perfection in math)
French: 70% I don't care
English: 99% Easy as fuck
PE: 68% I'm a little fat
Music: 73% I'm really bad about writing biographies about Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky
Science: 88% would have better grades if we didn't have so much team work
Ethics and religious culture: 62% That stuff is boring as hell AND useless
History: 79% Meh, history of Quebec isn't very... exciting, to say the least

what kind of Religious cultures?

I agree with you for science, I just don't like working with a teammate, unless it's a close friend.

i don't know why, but i just don't care much about grades. i just learn what i want to learn.

The five major religions basically.
And in my science class, the teacher purposely pair a high grade student(like me) with low grade students so they don't fail as much. Basically, they suck on my grades. And I hate it because I end up doing more work in less time, for worse results.

I care about the grades of the classes I care about and that will turn out to be useful in the future. Like math and science.

I like getting high grades, but most of the time I'm lazy. I don't really study until the exams, and even then it's like 30 minutes each one then go to the next. I'm fine with doing projects, but I only really like it when A. I'm in a group, preferably with a friend. B. It's a video/image project where I can use my computer or C. It's creative writing. When it's a paper and it's at least 10 pages, I fall asleep, same goes for book reports and stuff. I also fail at things that require handiness such as cooking or woodworks.
