Should I ask for the Xecutor SX Pro for my birthday?

Depends when your birthday is really. If your birthday is within the next month or so and you want back-up loading, then yea...but if you are just wanting homebrew, you could always just ask for a MicroSD card. Also, with Atmosphere being open source, you know there will be back-up loading brought to it eventually...or the TX device will get reverse engineered...My birthday is in December, i'm sure by then, there will be a free solution (Although, I am sure there will be a free solution by the end of June)

That's pretty much the conversation I had the first few times of hacking systems. Plus bringing up the whole emulation thing for thousands of games.

Now they come to ME asking about getting systems hacked for my younger brothers.

Yeah dude, just ask for a big enough microSD card, so that you can get things ready until atmosphere is out, there is already so much that can be done, I personally made two partitions on my microSD card, one for hekate to load snes nes gb(c) gba emulators, and the other to boot linux everytime I feel like doing it. Except the sound that has yet to be implemented on linux, you can do so much things with your switch rn ! You'll get much more fun out of this than with TX's solution. ^_^

lmao that's my mom. She fully pro piracy, I even told her about when I hacked all my 3ds and she was like "yeah sure we won't waste money any more !"

No, don’t. You can use a paper clip or something to make a jig and then you can install Atmosphere from there. Let your parents buy something else for you, like a new game.
