so i figured since i've been skateboarding a lot again, i'd just like do a highventures spinoff and do it with skateboarding. so here's entry number one of... SKATEVENTURES!!!
so i went to the closest skatepark by me for the second time today, and it's funny because the closest skatepark isn't really "close" and it's a 2 hour bus ride to there and 2 back. so that's nice. anyways, around 1 o-clock some guy shoes up, and i'm like alright he seems like he knows what he's doing i'm gonna ask how long he's been skating for. this guy said he's 37 and he's been skating for 20 years. and i was like, wow okay so that's epic and then we got into some conversation, THEN we started talking about smoking weed and i was like yeah i smoke and he was like, "oh shit really? i got this joint and i only smoke with people but i got no one, you down?" and i was like, "yeah." and tossed him my lighter.
so yeah then we just skated around, dipping in and out of the bowl and doing some street skate. and it was honestly really fun. we even ended up going to the convenience store at some point and he bought me an energy drink and i was gonna get one anyways with my own money. so that was cool.
anyways i went home at like 4 and i got home just now, it's like 6:30 so a 2 and half hour long trek home.
a lot more cool things happened, but i wanna save some stories for other times.
oh and he calls himself "danger" and i thought that was epic.
