Hi everyone, I'm a huge cartoon nerd. I follow John K's blog every day, I watch every new Spongebob episode in hopes that it'll get better again, and I've got the complete Loony Tunes DVD set downstairs. Next to games, cartoons are my life. (For better or for worse).
So when "Adventure Time with Finn and Jake", created by Pendleton Ward of The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack fame, premiered on Cartoon Network on the fifth, I was all over it. I've followed the series ever since it was but a humble short on Nickelodeon's Random! Cartoons series in 2008, and it's pretty cool to see a low-budget little thing like this get its own full-blown TV series (even if it is on Cartoon Network, which is infamous for its lack of support for its shows).
The show's pretty Avant-garde, because of its candy-coated art style and pop-culture usage. I think it's interesting how the show will evolve while it takes its first steps. Since Spongebob is having its ups and downs lately, and Cartoon Network kicked Chowder and Flapjack out of its repertoire, I hope this can fill my empty void.
You can get the first episode, "Trouble in Lumpy Space", on iTunes for FREEAAHH. So any other cartoon freaks out there can develop their own opinions about this crazy cartoon. I'll be watching it with each new episode, because I'm lame like that.

I whipped this up in my spare time prior to its premiere, because I was totally stoked.
