The New Tempcast

I've never listened to a tempcast, but I hope this one will be good and include some nice content. You guys should also take in guest speakers. *hint hint*

This one is funny. Hadrian is funny. I listened to the whole LEAKED Tempcast!! LOLZ!

How are you planing to broadcast live exactly? I suggested a while back to Hadrian using blogtv to do it. With that you can have a main broadcaster live on cam and audio with a second person as a co-host also visible in the corner of the screen. It shouldnt be too hard to have some other people audible via skype too. And the advantage of Blogtv is that at the same time viewers can chat live to the hosts via IM text on the right hand side of the page. Which would make the tempcast fully interactive between viewers and the hosts. Also you can record the broadcast, video, audio and the text and have the recordings saved on your Blogtv profile page for people who missed it to watch later.

Through my tests probably on ustream. That seems to work out nicely. Ustream has a section for chat, but I doubt we'd use it as we would lack control of it. We will likely use a channel on GBAtemp's own IRC server for chat participation. We are still working out details though. Any and all of this could change, but this is likely what we'll do when we start. Also, if all works out we might have shaunj66 as the guest for the first live episode. No promises though, and fingers crossed!

Seriously take a look at blogtv, I go on there from time to time its pretty straightforward to use by the looks of it. And regarding the live chat on it, you can close the chat to guests so people have to register to talk to you. The chat will still be visible to guests however. And you can assign OPs to anyone so they can kick people who fuck around during the broadcast so you wouldnt have to worry about dealing with spammers and trolls while broadcasting.

It's a good Tempcast. I listened to it three times for the lulz. Nothing to be ashamed of. And no, you do NOT sound gay, Spikey, alright? Get that idea out of your head...

Now I'm gonna go download the old Tempcasts and listen to them all.

The old ones aren't quite as good. We finally entered our stride, I think. While we aren't that good about stopping, we finally captured that of which I think reflects GBAtemp more than how we used to go about the Tempcasts. Yes, GBAtemp posts news, and yes, new games and other types of news become a center of conversation within the community. However, what makes GBAtemp what it is is not only those types of discussions, but everything else as well. We have a plethora of sections and even sections within those sections. So to focus purely on news(which was always outdated by the time it was released anyways) was a pretty silly idea. Also, with the easier inclusion of the GBAtemp community doing it live, the future ones will do an even better job. We should hopefully have lots of guests on the show as well in the future which is something I'm really glad about. The more community involvement, the better.

Anyways... I talk too much.

Where can I get it? Do I have to PM Sonicslasher?

OK, I offer some strawberry milk and War's naked body for a copy of the new leaked tempcast episode.

Love the idea. It'll be great!, expect tons of new Hadrian jokes about ethnicity and kicks on the crotch!

Well, I'm hoping that we can have the next episode(part 1 of our recording) released in the next 24 hours. Fingers crossed!
