The one "game-saving" feature of the Switch that nobody thought of

I was over at a friends house a while ago playing on his Switch docked to a TV, he was blasting Nazis in Wolf 2 in hybrid console fashion. He was having some electrical work being done in the basement, and suddenly the power for the room we were playing in went out. I got that strange feeling in my stomach we all have had at least once in our lives, when our power goes out while playing a video game, usually because of power instability, a younger sibling, or maybe even a parent, and it just vanishes, all your unsaved progress gone forever. However, I still heard the Nazis screaming their asses off saying "I'm changing positions!" and "Do you have visuals?". I took a look over at the dock and realized that the game was still continuing, right where he left off. The power going out is the same thing as the Switch being lifted out of the dock, and the Switch knows to immediately switch to battery power. All of his progress was still there, but he paused the game and hit Save just in case. This isn't a monumental feature which will boost sales and help Nintendo hit their 20 million units, but it is definitely something quite interesting that nobody's ever considered.

How do you know that nobody's ever considered it? Where I live power blips are pretty common and it was obvious as soon as I saw the first advert that this would be a pretty good system to avoid unnecessary game reloads/lost progress.

@Pleng Because no popular reviewers on YouTube ever mentioned it, no comments I’ve read said anything about it, no one here ever posted something about it. Does that mean no soul on this planet ever thought of it, no, just that very few or even none have mentioned it before.

Nintendo does not need help to achieve 20 million sales as you claim because they already had 22.86 million sales (as of September 30, 2018)

Yes since launch the switch had achieved 22.86 million sales worldwide. I feel we may be talking about 2 different things here I am talking about overall sales which is more than the 20 million sales the op is on about. Has Nintendo claimed they would get 20 million sales this year alone ??

I think smash will move a couple million, but no way are they gonna come close to matching first year's sales lol. Their financial team is insane lol
