The wii is oficially dead F to pay respects

Ubisoft confirmed that just dance 2020 will be the last game on the wii.So, lets all pay respects to this tiny white box.This was live for 13 years, but now it is time for it to go.Goodbye childhood.

If the Wii just died, then that means Wii U is just getting started woohoo. Switch won't launch until 2026.

I still have and sell modded Wiis. It's good fun. Best emulator machine out there.

Best? nah not even close. Switch can emulate most consoles, all the ones Wii can and more and now is getting 3DS on Horizon. Switch is the best emulator machine console or handheld.

I'd rather just piss on its grave, since it pissed me off with its dysfunctional motion control gimmick.
Could've had mandatory Classic Controller backup, but noooo - gotta force everyone to use the inaccurate motion detector and the flickering pointer that kept spazzing all over the screen...the Wii U learned, and had normal controls, making it the superior and more enjoyable console.

It really depends on how you define "dead". I would define a console as dead when the majority of its users no longer use it on a regular basis. Using this definition the Wii has been long dead.

I brought a WiiU 2 years ago, hacked it and transferred the wii HDD to the WiiU along with another HDD for the WiiU, sold the Wii, never gonna miss it.

The Wii has been discontinued a long time ago, yet people still think it's alive. Just because new games come out, doesn't mean it isn't dead.
