Let's go in order:
- P1ngpong constantly harassed me on IRC, insulting me and my dead mother. After telling him to stop multiple times and asking @Costello for help (he just added him to the conversation and left) I put him on ignore so I could stop dealing with his insults. He banned me from IRC. After that I complained to the staff and they told me to fuck off. Everything is still in my PMs.
- After leaving the forums for a few years due to this, I decided to come back hoping that the forums were changed. P1ngpong was still a dickhead to people that just entered the chat to ask a question.
- The forum was doing average until the staff put a Patreon to gain money out of user-based content and bribe people into gambling. I expressed my concerns to the staff but received no feedback
- The staff starts treating patreon "premium" users better with flaming posts not being moderated, because they are filling the staff's pockets
- After a post about the Nintendo Switch I get attacked and receive multiple death threats over Discord. Not only the staff doesn't give a fuck, but they protected all the Patreon members. No one got banned or suspended after that
- I occasionally still get attacked by these people and no one bats an eye because they are premium members. I have reported a few cases lately, the staff has always replied with "it's his opinion" (of calling me a cunt? Nice) and the posts weren't deleted
These reasons are why I'm leaving the forums. I'm sorry for the users that I care about, but the staff's corruption has been unbearable. You will still see me online sometimes, but that's only to delete my posts that the staff is making money off. Don't expect me to post anywhere. I'm done here.
I'm sure some user will try to derail this thread as best as they can to protect their interests. Do as you please, I have faith in the actually smart side of the users.
