This is really really freaky

So my friend just text me saying 'what the hell?'
I said 'What?'
Him-"I just got a call from you but it was like looping saying "Hey, you there? good just wait ill cal you back its an emergency"
me- :wtf:
Then he went on to say it was my voice and I sounded really calm and yeah, he said it was a private number too

Scary stuff

What if he's doing it to freak you out on purpose?

mmm possibly
Though I asked them that and he said he swears he isnt but yeah...

So basically, somebody that sounded like you likely called from a private number so that your friend wouldn't know it wasn't you. They then either looped a recording, or kept repeating the same thing over and over again.

Remember, weird douche muffins exist everywhere.

Either that or it was a localised time distortion caused by exotic chronotons gathering in a single place, fusing and then creating a slight dimensional shift. I'll take a look.

This sounds more likely.

Looks like I was close with my original guess. It was a chronoton buildup; didn't take to long to disperse the particles across the continuum; they faded out naturally.
