EDIT2: with how things have turned out, I feel like I should say a few things.
First of all, and I hope this is clear, I have never attacked the staff personally. I have nothing against them and I have only criticized the last decisions they have taken. You know, a fucking discussion, like you should have in a forum instead of shitposting? Yeah, I don't think you do. After posting my opinion all the white knights that wanted to look good at the eyes of the staff started insulting me, opening threads to insult me some more, even fabricate screenshots and attempting to derail this blog. The majority of these people apparently have something against me because I dissed the Nintendo Switch in my old blog post. That's right, all this for a fucking toy. It's not difficult to guess their average age.
After receiving multiple insults and death threats on Discord, and after @WeedZ and @sarkwalvein tried to defame me on the forums, I asked help from the staff. You see, this is the big difference between them: while I strongly believe some of the ideas that the staff have are flawed, I don't think the staffers are. The userbase, however, has proven how much immature and disturbingly dangerous is. You can't have an opinion different than the other, you can't criticize anyone. You just can't or you get death threats from people who still live in their mom's basement. Nice. Not to mention, you can see that all the people who particularly hated me in this blogpost were the same who got very aggressive towards my blogpost about the Switch, which you can find here:

Seems like there are a lot of people to avoid in the forums.
I'm not even going to mention the other users who have spammed my profile with insults and some reporters that have some superiority complex, or how two former staffers have insulted me on IRC while all this was going on ("former", thank god). I'm glad the staff was able to evaluate this situation and act very quickly to solve this. Once again: thank you.
So yeah. Bottomline: don't ever have any opinion or the entitled kids will send you death threats.

With the active users being, by majority, complete morons and no way of making a serious discussion without some smartass flaming or shitposting. You also have the staff who doesn't moderate nearly good enough and aren't open to discussion. One time I got a warning by @Veho without notice and, when I asked for more information via PM, he simply left the conversation. The staff isn't willing to discuss anything with you. I had to talk directly to Costello to know more about this, whom I don't think nor expect to be 24/7 available when his staff should be doing this instead.
But everything could be forgiven if it weren't for the forum's decision to go Patreon. I have addressed this problem many, MANY times, yet the staff doesn't care. No one is going to pay five fucking bucks a month to get the forum ad-free and wanting 500 bucks to start working on a dark theme is simply ridiculous. Why would the forum deserve a fucking Patreon anyway? The vast majority of the content is user-based, and I sure as hell haven't received any money for all my contribution towards the forum. Have you?
And sure, they promise you that they will do raffles. AKA gambling. You buy your ticket every month and hope to win. I'd rather play the Lotto than gamble over something that isn't controlled at all, so easily hackable.
Additionally, have you noticed how none of the Patreons have received any warn or ban since the option was available? This is scummy.
So yeah. Waiting for all the fanboys to suck on the staffers' dicks and tell me to leave.
