So yeah if any of you prank called me haha very funny.
So I was in the car yesterday with a friend of mine driving home from the supermarket. I get a phone call and I go to get it. First off, I almost hit a pole doing this (yes I know I shouldn't answer my phone while driving) so kudos to that. But anyway, I get the phone, says it's from California, I pick it up.
It's some guy asking about a listing on Craigslist, which is odd because I had nothing on Craigslist. I said I didn't have any listing on Craigslist and he kept saying "Well this is the number they gave." I kept telling him he was wrong I've had nothing to do on Craigslist. My friend took the phone from me, said to stop calling, and hung up.
He calls again. Eventually I ask who the listing listed and it was me, my hometown, name, and phone number. So now I'm curious. I ask what the listing was for and it said it was a "video game collection." I ask what items were listed and he says "Battletoads." So obviously a prank. He says my account is linked to illegal prostitution activities and he'll call the police, I say please do, I hang up and block the number.
