It's finally done. The hectic environment for running around to assemble preparations for the wedding and its events are finally over.
Although, the days of the wedding really pissed me off.
For one, on the day of the 'Mehndi' ceremony (Basically people bless the couple with money and this type of hand paint) I didn't reach there on time. I was supposed to be one of the first people to be present at the event hall, but I literally had no ride. My mom and my sister with her two kids had no room for me or my brother, so my sister with the kids called her husband (as in my brother-in-law of three years) to get us one; while my mom and my sister left to go to the hall.
An hour later, no brother-in-law here.
An hour later, no brother-in-law here.
An hour later; no brother-in-law here. At this point, I got really furious and upset, making the feeling that no one cares about me in my house strong.
Finally, I saw a neighbor leaving her home who was invited to the ceremony see us waiting at home. She gave us a ride; and we were LATE STILL. I missed my now-brother-in-law's entrance for his side of the family on his Mehndi ceremony, but luckily; I got to be a part of my getting-married sister's entrance.
After all of that fuss, I felt completely irrelevant to the family. Not only irrelevant, but completely someone who can be USED in this house. I was left to babysit two bratty kids on the Wedding reception day while their parents were getting ready for the event. Those two turned the house upside down, it was really frustrating. Oh well, at least I managed to get to the other events on time.
Finally, things are over; but I am SO BORED AT HOME. None of my friends are at home, I don't have access to recreational activities outside, and exercising out there lasts for an hour for me and I come back home being bored as ever. I'm secretly using my sister's laptop because this is my only source of entertainment
