What is your all time favorite console?

I typically play jRPGs, so Sony is usually on my list, but Nintendo had been doing good about getting some on their systems recently too.

Currently my favorite console would still probably be the ps2, with WiiU right behind it (Mainly because of Wii games, and a few U games.)

Favorites, I don't know anymore.
There are a lot of consoles where I played many games, great consoles, I think the NDS and the PS1 were really a great value considering the amount of games I played on each one.
But I don't think they are favorites.

If I were to talk about beloved ones (as in nostalgia) instead of favorites, I would say the NES and Sega Megadrive; and if I include computers I used for games then the C64 and an old 80286 with Hercules monochrome graphics.

Super Nintendo.

Such a wide variety of games, and an over abundance of great RPGs. If I had to pick one console to have for eternity, I think I would find the most enjoyment out of the SNES.

Earthbound, Final Fantasy(s), Breath of Fire, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger etc.

Probably the gamecube. It's not because it's the 'best' console or anything, it's just the one I had and enjoyed the most over the years.

That comfortable controller, the games it had. No, it didn't have a lot of multiplats, but then it didn't have much shovelware either. Damn, it had some great games, lots of hidden gems people didn't buy much at the time as well.

Cons - It was marketed as a kids console in the west, where the PS2 and Xbox were marketed as mature, teen or adult consoles. This meant western developers didn't create a lot of mature games for Gamecube, aside from quirky titles like Guist, Killer 7 and such. Also, games were really expensive New. It was likely down to the media they used, but it put a lot of people off of it.
