Why do I keep missing out?

Here I am, I just discovered a meme that was dead 3 years ago that I think is funny. I go to GBAtemp and see people talking about some dsi exploit leak...
first unbanmii and now this?

Why do I keep missing out on stuff like this? And of course i'll try to come up with some explanation for myself but then I find the actual one and it's way different, and of course it's when the stuff is over.

So what is this dsi exploit leak about? (No need for a TL;DR version btw)

Yeah, I shouldn't bash too much, but for money? That's deceptive and disgusting, not to mention selfish. I doubt he contributed too much to the exploit, thus making it worse. Twice also. He's stupid, honestly.

PokeAcer has already gotten a massive backlash from it.
No need to be a sheep and join the mob to lynch him.
The staff is handeling it internally.

'Tis true, but he could've considered this would happen. He'd be discovered and people would attack him for it. It comes part in parcel with doing something this morally wrong.

Yeah, that's very much true. But right now i'll be talking to myself about it, but leave it at that. While that is a really big fucking shitty ass move, it's not like we can actually sue him. If this was like making games for the PC and he did that then we could sue him. But this is 3DS hacking which in some cases is illegal to do. I could guess a bit why Pokeacer would tell the fn3d exploit cause of the server Kaeru, but if I were him i'd tell it to nintendo but give the money to the original founder.

I'm not defending PokeAcer nor am I prosecuting him.
I'm staying out of this and try and prevent idiots from joining other fools in a useless witchhunt.

Meh, PokeAcer won't get any bashing from me.
Though I consider what he did was stupid, getting hate and being outcasted from the community just for a couple of bucks.
Anyway it should be a problem between the specific group of people that got backstabbed, and the on that did the backstabbing. I feel everybody else bashing is just being entitled for no reason.
(anyway it is a good idea not to share any secret with him and avoid using apps that puts your data in his hands)

sarkwalvein I don't think almost 4k is a couple of bucks lmao, I would agree with you if it wasn't for the fact that he lied to us all not just the people he stole the exploits/information from. He did an act beyond being scummy and shitty, then he apologized on a blog post great cool said he wouldn't do it again great the community was forgiving him and sending him some support but then later that night we found out he did it, again. He was lying to everyone that was giving him support, so I think at least some part of the community is allowed to be mad.

Spoiled brat.. The kid is smarter than the average bear. Say what you want, while underhanded, he did some shifty, yet smart shit to get his way. Hopefully he can put that to use and do some good.
