Title.
Well, we still have a wired modem anyway, but I finally got round to buying a wireless router for it.
Yay.
Before last week I used a USB wireless adapter connected to my dad's computer, but he since bought a new laptop (pretty much the same model as mine, with a few differences; different processor, some cosmetic differences, less RAM et al, but then I either used the ethernet cable or ran an ad hoc connection with ICS with the cable in the other computer. The latter solution had some issues, so I kept my eye out for routers.
Then I found one.
£29.97.
I don't mind that.
Now I don't depend on the other computer being switched on to use the wireless.
Yay again.
Had a feeling I'd get it today, as we usually go to Tesco on a Tuesday night.
They were the "network issues" I mentioned in my KYT questions to a couple of people.
Speaking of which:
My KYT session is fast approaching.
Please be kind.
So, "e-tagging". A term I made up.
A bit like tagging via graffiti, but electronically.
Let me explain.
I often go into shops that have active electronics (obviously).
Recently (maybe the past month or two) I've taken to typing or writing my username in some form on some devices, be they iPhones or in today's case, a couple of netbooks.
I doubt that anyone here lives anywhere near me, so this may affect none of you, but if you come across anything with ProtoKun7 written in some form, yeah, that'll be me.
