Does installing this plug-in require a specific CFW? I heard mentions of NTR CFW and I'm hesitant to install stuff like that on my CFW 3DS. It's working perfectly fine as is and I don't want to break things over a few cheats.

It's doesn't. And after years of asking there hasn't been any posts in here for the .txt version either. Rather unfortunate because the plugin was amazing when it worked.

Hey everyone, I know quite a few of you were looking to get this to work. Currently I have not found a way to get the Luma plugin to work at all and I'm not willing to go back to an old system firmware and archaic version of Luma from 2018 to get that working. However, the NTR plugin DOES work. Here's what to setup on your up-to-date 3DS or N3DS

Download the NTR version and put in on the root of your SD card Root:\plugin

Download the proper BootNTR .cia for your system
Old 3DS: BootNTRSelector_Mode3.cia
New 3DS: BootNTRSelector.cia
Source: https://github.com/Nanquitas/BootNTR/releases

Grab the NTF CFW .zip files from:
https://github.com/44670/BootNTR/releases

Paste those to your SD card root. (I renamed the ntr.n3ds.bin file to ntr.bin, but also kept ntr.n3ds.bin on the SD card, but that may not be needed as I think it can detect which one you need)

Install with FBI and open the app. Select the Default settings.
Select version 3.3 (3.6 crashes when going to the home menu for me, and 3.2 causes the full system to crash)

Load Luigi's Mansion, you should see a green flash on the 3DS logo. You should also see a toast that the plugin has loaded.
Press Select and enjoy the cheats!

Hope this helps!

Is there a way to lock Luigi's horizontal position? Even with X3 speed Luigi will fall through the floor when going through walls, the only feasible way is to use doors.

Again you get what you pay for, its like buying a S series for $300 but its only 1440p native, if you want true 4k, gotta get the X model for $500. But yea you right, when moms buying it anyways, you gotta stay cheap.

I'm designing my own entertainment cabinet for my man cave, to store all my systems, then I'm also designing a power supply/HDMI switcher so I can switch to whichever system I want, and power it also. Already picked up the cabinet board, but tinkering with my drawings before start
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
But yea, I have frogger arcade cabinet that I gutted and put a Pi4 then Pi5 into, but it never gets played much anymore, should sell it. Even when the kids come over, they don't want to play on it, just the xbox. TMNT and Simpson's arcade is still so fun on it, esp w 2 players.
