Huh.... for some odd reason, my HDD no longer works with any USB loader app. I tried both ports, and on one it can't detect it, and the other, well, it just freezes entirely. This Wii is starting to be a real pain in the ass.
Apparently Kirby's Return to Dream Land has a new AP.
Freezes on title screen with cIOS56 rev21d2x and Hermes cIOS38 v5.1 in Cfg USB Loader and USB Loader GX.
Only Sneek works.

I had this problem once, too, then I realized that I had mistakenly downloaded the 249 version (while upgrading) when my drive only worked w/ 222, so maybe that's the problem?
I am having some trouble here, I am using the most current usb loader and I want my games to list/read like they are on the hard drive , but when I boot up the cfg the games come out in a different spelling/list order .. How can I get the games to show up listed like they are on hard drive ? Thanks Bud
I need some help setting this thing up, namely with installing the cIOS 248. I cannot find anything on how to actually install this, or what/where to download it. I changed the meta because I got the cios is a stub error, and now it tells me it's not installed. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thank you.

I have Kirby running on IOS 249, but it freezes at cut scenes or mini games. So what is the better IOS to use to keep it from freezing. I have 247, 248, 222 mload 223, 224, 222yal, 223, 250
I'm using Loader Version 62/ IOS249 r20/ Base IOS57 rev 20 mload v1.0

First of, WTF? I said to use Wordpad, not Notepad. Lol.
You don't even have 248 installed, and the rest are stubbed. I'm guessing you foolishly updated your Wii, or you never softmodded it properly. Download ModMii (also in my signature) and resoftmod it. After that, you should be able to use Cfg without issue.

Whoops, sorry. Must have gotten confused. I used some method or other, I forgot which. I haven't updated it since two years ago maybe. I'll try the modmii, thank you!
Edit: I'm using modmii, I should go the 'never been modified' route right? I remember I used SmashStack to install the HBC. Also my saves will be ok, right?
Is anyone else using NTFS partition with WBFS files and putting their covers on the drive? I have that setup and it seems to work fine except that when I do "download missing covers", it complains that write ntfs option is not enabled. So I enabled it and then it hangs when it writes.
As a workaround, I downloaded the covers using the Wii Backup Manager and manually put them on the drive.
Looking around the threads, it seems that FAT32 is recommended for storing the covers.
