Honestly, its probably one of the best looking games I have played on the vita tv. (Probably because it's resolution is actually native to the vita) Although some of the lighting effects look low res and there is still a bit of jaggedness, I'd say in terms of visuals, this game is gold!
I am also playing the game. In fact I just bought a Vita just for Freedom Wars and can say it was worth, I'm enjoying it so far. Have been playing Monster Hunter a lot during the last year, it feels refreshing with the futuristic approach and addition of ranged weapons.
If you wish to play but don't want to purchase a Vita I can recommend a Playstation TV as it is cheaper, and the game runs fine on the big screen as well.
