Well I must say I paid for it 'cause I got bored of having to keep looking for the updates and since buying it I don't have the problems anymore.

So, I have the demo installed, just need to try it out because I'm wary of spending six dollars on an app that may or may not run well for most games on my Nexus 7. Once more, I obstinately refuse to go to Android Lollipop because there is no Wii controller support due to changes in the Bluetooth code, that and I refuse to spend money on a new BT controller lol :D Am I guaranteed to have a better and smoother framerate, should I use the legit version?

Probably since cracked versions are often older versions while official ones are current and have fixed past bugs

Why does the Google Play store say "April 15, 2014" on the top and that Version 2.2.1.2a is the most recent? Isn't that version like, really old? That's the version I installed as an .apk and it ran like crap. I saw one called Version 2.2.1.2a build 59 the other day, but that doesn't seem right? How update to date is yours, i.e. what version do you have? I truly believe I'm SOL, as soon as I try out the latest demo of it.

I have that version. Shit runs fine. Just recently finished the first case in AAI2.

Then I can safely assume it was entirely the fault of the version I was using, and not the one on the Google Play Store. I still have my doubts about being able to run this well on 4.1.2 or 4.4.4. Will report back later. The version still sounds like it's old as hell, but whatevs.

I mean it's not guaranteed but I noticed a huge improvement, I never pay for apps but it annoyed me enough to do it.

My only real fear is that I pay the six dollars and end up with an app that doesn't run as I expect; getting a refund, according to the emulator FAQ, is nigh impossible, so I'd be gypped outta six dollars.

This is why I hate Google Play for emulators. In most cases, I take the page from the same book you do and get "free" ones. As far as N64 emulation is concerned, none of my android devices are quite strong enough to do full speed, and in my experience all the Mupen64 variants on Google Play suck hardcore. However, I do have an apk file for N64oid, which isn't available anymore on GP. If you'd like to try it, I can mediafire it and PM you a link? It seems to be one of the better 64 emulators I've tried.

The emulator itself I'm sure is fine, I've just been using old cracked versions, and the author does give out refunds as long as you email him a very damn good reason why. I can do just that. N64 Android just seems to be very flaky, how old is the emulator and would a quad core Cortex A9 with Tegra 3 be powerful enough?

Dude, this isn't a DraStic help forum, contact the author at once. Or here http://www.drastic-ds.com/viewforum.php?f=7 Post on that forum instead. This is my thread asking about emulators, register on the DraStic official forums.

Just so you know, DraStic and Mupen64plus AE are still being updated. Once you buy DraStic, you can opt in to the beta program on the first thread of the first section of the forum. Mupen64plus AE currently has some alpha builds (I'm working on them somewhat :P), but those aren't entirely ready for public consumption yet.

I know,I saw the group for that on Google Plus as well, the problem is, am I guaranteed to get better speed than I have been getting than the cracked build I used? I really really don't want to make a mistake in getting this :P

You've got me as far as the technical specs are concerned. All I can say is that with N64oid I get a few frames shy of full speed (depending on the game and circumstances of course) when using it on my Sero 7 Pro, which has an NVIDIA Tegra 3, 1.30GHz.

I PMed you just now, not sure if you saw it or not, but I did send you one :P Good, but still, the one on Google Play runs like shit, to put it bluntly.

That's really really weird, as those graphics plugins are pretty bad.
It could be just a strange convergence of circumstances for me, too, but eh... Going back to N64oid, I can actually play games at about 1/2 to 2/3 speed on my Trio Stealth Lite, which has basically nothing under the hood. Boxchip A13 Cortex A8, 1.2GHz and 512MB DDR3 RAM.
